About me
David Skidmore has been in Youth Ministry for 25 years and has spent the last 20 years serving the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN.
David and his wife (of 26 years), Melissa, have three daughters Daisy Sue, Anna Belle, and Lila Mae.
David is a graduate of the University of Memphis where he did his Undergraduate work in the area of Interpersonal and Family Communication Dynamics and received his Masters in the area of Organizational and Small Group Communication Dynamics.
In addition to attending at the University of Memphis, he also taught Speech and Oral Communication at the University as an adjunct professor before beginning his ministry career.
David loves "The Andy Griffith Show", authentic Mexican tacos and is a collector of old metal lunch boxes, but his biggest passion is being a "sycamore tree" for teens . . . lifting them above the distractions of the crowd that they might see the approaching Savior.
His favorite (and tougher than you would imagine) trivia question of all time is: "Who is the first person to say the name 'Boba Fett' on the BIG SCREEN?"
