About me
Jon Micah and Jennifer have been married for 26 years. They have four children and four grandchildren. He currently serves as the Family Discipleship Minister with the Hendersonville Church of Christ in Hendersonville Tennessee. His primary role and the role of the Family Discipleship team is to help encourage and equip families of all shapes and sizes to cultivate faith in their households. Jon Micah has twenty years of experience providing pre-marital counseling and is certified through Prepare and Enrich. Additionally, he has six years experience offering formal individual spiritual direction, group direction, and facilitates spiritual formation retreats for pastors and ministry leaders.
His spiritual direction formation includes two years of formal equipping and training in spiritual direction through ICS (the Institute for Christian Spirituality through Lipscomb University), including a nine-month experience of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. His role within the local church context creates natural opportunities to facilitate coaching for marriages and participate in the ministry of spiritual direction. As a growing spiritual director and rhythm imagineer, he has a calling and passion to provide spiritual direction for men. Jon Micah received his Master of Marriage of Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master of Divinity from Lipscomb University, and completed the Doctor of Ministry program at Lipscomb University in 2022.
